Episodes

The Trail Blazer
Rick Moses plays wilderness trapper Daniel Boone, one of America's favorite heroes, in this action-adventure series. The legendary Boone is pictured here as a younger man than when Fess Parker had the role in an earlier series. In the first show, he's out to blaze a trail through the wilderness and explore the forbidden Cumberland Gap while a hired killer (Jeremy Brett as Langford) waits in ambush aided by a band of Shawnee trackers. Boone is unaware that his trek, which inevitably would entice settlers to move into the territory, just what the French don't want.

The Pirate
Daniel and Hawk, the runaway slave, pursue a disgraced British officer turned pirate who robbed them of valuable furs and carried Peter off as a hostage and their hunt gets even tougher when the aristocratic Maj. Hammond and his loyal aide (Paul Shenar and Clive Revill) foil Peter's attempts to leave a trail.

The Salt Licks
Daniel undergoes the Indian test of strength and only by surviving the gruelling, often fatal rites — just like Jon Hall did in those old movies — will he be able to break up an Indian attack. Part of his plan is an agreement to let the Shawnees capture the good folk settlin' in. And, of course, his own people think he's nuts.

The Game
Ely Porter discovers that three Cherokee Indians have stolen a horse to give it to young Indian woman Winoa. Daniel and Peter decide to help in the investigation to find out the causes that have motivated the robbery.
