Sveta is the owner of a small bakery, she is raising her son Vanka alone, her main concern is the happiness of her son, who waits for his father every day. And Roman lives his own life: he meets with the daughter of a major official, Yulia, and works in the local administration. Gradually, the relationship between father and son improves, and Sveta has time for her personal life. Andrei appears in Sveta's life, helping her with her business, her son, and inviting her on dates. But Sveta has no idea that he is her main competitor, the owner of a chain of bakeries, who lures away her clients, which deals a big blow to Sveta's business.
