The Sedykh group is investigating the reasons for the systematic beating of Ksyusha Malygina. The girl's mother, Galina, blames Ksyusha's ex-husband and father David Hakobyan for the incident, but he, on the contrary, is sure that her daughter has become a victim of her stepfather Igor. Interrogating the girl's stepfather and father in turn, Bobrova and Pankratov understand that each of them had their own reasons for committing a crime - both wanted the girl to stay with them.
