Желмен жарысқандар
Madina lives in a remote Kazakh village, where she is always running from one place to another delivering orders for her mother, who works as a seamstress. When a former professional runner mullah comes to the village, he notices Madina and decides to help her develop her talent. However, Madina's uncle is against the idea as in her opinion sports for girls are not welcome. He also doesn't believe that an ordinary girl from a small village can win in a serious competition. While mullah almost succeeds at persuading the uncle, instead of taking Madina to the sports event, the uncle takes Madina to meet her future husband.
On the way to the meeting the minibus with Madina and her family in it gets into a car accident and Madina has to run to the nearest village to find a doctor. She comes back with paramedics and saves the day. This prompts her uncle into thinking that what has happened is a sign from the almighty and that Madina's talent is a gift of heaven.
Despite the journey so far, one more hurdle remains to be faced by Madina, as her future husband reveals he is strongly opposed to her passion for running.
