Su Zhao Ge was separated from her childhood sweetheart and forced into a relationship with the emperor. The Emperor was cruel and despotic, which forced Su Zhao Gae to take advantage of his life. However, the ninth prince, Xiao Zhi, who had sympathy for Su Zhao Ge, did all the dirty work for her. In the end, the ninth prince ascended to the throne and Su Zhao Ge, who had been granted the status of Empress Dowager, moved from the Imperial Palace to the Yongle Palace.


Five years later, Xiao Zhi takes Su Zhao Gae back and begins a story full of cunning, hatred, and love.
