Kostya escapes from Moscow, accidentally finds himself in the role of a rural doctor and arrives in the village disguised as Dr. Volkov. In order not to reveal himself, he has to save a woman's life right at the train station.

Kostya decides to steal a thoroughbred stallion in order to sell it to bandits, but the horse obeys only the local Nastya. Meanwhile, Danya is trying to impress Lelya, and Grigory is challenging Kostya.

Bandits send a half-dead Pavel by freight train to an unknown destination. Marina cannot reach her lover, the girl's excitement is growing. Sergey gets into a criminal history. Marina And Sergey go to the city, from where Pavel has not returned. The movers, convinced that Pavel is dead, take him to the forest. Andreev regains consciousness and reaches the village.

Old man Nikiforych finds out about Kostya's imposture and blackmails him in exchange for help in stealing the checkers. Nastya begins to suspect Kostya and tries to get his fingerprints.

Kostya decides to steal the precious piece anyway, hoping to sell it. Nastya asks Kostya to pretend to be her boyfriend in front of an obsessive ex, and Danya has to move a huge stone for a date with Lelya.

Pavel gets a job at the hospital as an orderly. Olga's husband comes to his disposal, from whom Pavel learns why he has so many ill-wishers in Yagodnoye.…

Kostya finds out that he is entitled to a million for the work of a doctor, but he needs documents that he does not have. Grigory gets a job as an assistant to Nastya, and the Chairman sets up Nikolasha on a blind date.

By trying to straighten the checker, Kostya provokes a conflict between the two villages, which will be resolved at the tournament. Grigory wants to overcome his fear of horses and asks for help from Kostya.

Shashka is now under the protection of the museum, but Kostya is trying to get the Director out of there. Semyon Palych is in a panic because of the missing gazebo before the arrival of officials, and Grigory at the same time helps to build it and deals with personal matters with Tamara.

Kostya figures out how to bypass the museum's new security system and decides to make an impression of the key. Meanwhile, Danya and Lelya are being pursued by the Chairman, and the Cossacks decide to get rid of the influence of the district police officer Nastya.

Kostya hides from everyone that Ira, who has arrived, is his fiancee, passing her off as his sister. Tamara asks Gregory to play the role of her husband in front of her parents. The chairman is trying to prove to Praskovya that he is still in shape.

The commission wants to take the saber away from the village, and Kostya is ready to do anything to prevent this. Nastya gets to know Kostya's "sister", and the Chairman teaches Danya to stand up for herself.

Tamara mistakenly thinks that the doctor is cheating on Nastya, and asks Gregory to tell her about it. Kostya finds out about the search for a certain debtor named Konstantin. Praskovya is sure that Semyon Palych is preparing to propose to her.

Nastya stops communicating with Kostya and does not let him into the station, and he is looking for a way to talk to her. Lelia suspects Danya of treason. Grigory accidentally gets checked at Tamara's cafe.

The lawyer informs Kostya about the inheritance from a rich patient. Grigory believes that relations with Tamara have improved, but he is mistaken. Lelia resents Danya for underestimating her work.

Kostya decides to stay in the village and be a doctor, but fate immediately checks on him. Grisha spends the whole day doing household chores on Tamara's orders. Dana will have to leave for Krasnodar and say goodbye to Lelya.

Kostya is found by creditors to whom he owes a large sum. Tamara demands that Grigory work, but she is not satisfied with the profession he has chosen. Praskovya hints to Semyon Palych for the next step in the relationship.
