Tom Segers witnesses a bank robbery. One of the culprits proves to be a patient of Veerle Goderis. In the meantime the concerns of Lucas have changed into happiness, now his ex wife Kathy has returned into his life. Veerle however develops a plan to get rid of her.

Tom Segers gets suspended, but continues his investigation on Veerle Goderis. Believing his colleague is in serious danger, Lucas Neefs shares his dark secret with Esther Mathijs. Veerle however responds too quick, making Tom look his own death into the eye.
