Indeed, despite the fight against poaching, rhinos, panthers, kangaroos, and monkeys are suffering the full brunt of human greed.

In Australia, an orphaned wombat, the victim of a road accident, is rescued by a volunteer couple. At the Sables d'Olonne Zoo, a baby giant anteater has just been born. Finally, in Knowsley, United Kingdom, the Safari Park attempts to save a baby marmoset rejected by its mother.

The first days of captive animals' lives are closely monitored by keepers, eager to ensure the preservation of the species and their rehabilitation in the wild. This episode follows the first steps of two bear cubs, four lion cubs, a crowned sifaka, and a snow leopard.
