During their studies, He Xiaozhan, Xiao Shangqi and Chen Fei'er were close friends. He Xiaozhan had loved Xiao Shangqi for eight years, but kept quiet about it because the young man was infatuated with Chen Fei'er. The incident on the eve of graduation destroyed the friendship between the inseparable trio. Faced with the double betrayal of love and friendship, He Xiaozhan moves from Shanghai to another city and becomes the host of a late-night radio show.
Three years later, Xiao Shangqi arrives in the same city to become the manager of a four-star hotel that is on the verge of closing. Former friends reunite, and through misunderstandings, misunderstandings and difficulties, they finally get to know each other and come to love.
