"Četnické humoresky" is a Czech television series produced by Czech Television, set in a gendarmerie investigative station in the rural area around Brno. The story takes place during the First Czechoslovak Republic, in the second half of the 1930s—specifically from around 1934 to 1938.

The series follows the lives of the gendarmes at the investigative station, focusing especially on one of them, Karel Arazím (played by Tomáš Töpfer), who later becomes the station commander in the later stages of the show.
