Making Monsters (2011-2013)
The Travel Channel is taking a trip to terror land with Making Monsters, their fall series that focuses on the Distortions Unlimited animatronics company in Greeley, Colorado as they create creatures for haunted houses and other fright attractions.
The Travel Channel will air Making Monsters on Sundays from October 2-23 in primetime. The show is a behind-the-scenes look at the Colorado-based Distortions Unlimited, a family-run business that's the largest animatronics creator and producer in the world, pumping out hundreds of creatures year-round to the haunted house, Halloween and scare-amusement industry. Along the way, you'll get to meet Distortions Unlimited owners Ed & Marsha Edmunds, master sculptor Jordu Schell (who has worked on Hellboy, Feast, The Mist, AVPR: Requiem, Legion and the upcoming The Thing and The Cabin in the Woods), sideshow performer the Enigma and Distortions comic book artist Daniel Crosier.

Extracted
Extracted features 12 untrained competitors attempting to survive extremely grueling conditions, perilous terrain, and the threat of fearsome predators in the unforgiving Canadian wilderness. Meanwhile, some miles away, their family members are locked down at a secluded headquarters watching them navigate their dangerous surroundings alone via a 24/7 live feed. The fate of each untrained contestant in the wilderness lies in the hands of their family members back in HQ. Each amateur survivalist's family has the power to decide whether their loved one has what it takes to brave the elements and fight to be the last one standing, or whether the family will push the ominous "Extract" button and remove their loved one and their whole family from the competition. Extracted begs the question: how far will their loved ones let them go for a chance for their family to win $250,000?

Destination X
Destination X sees a group of contestants go on the road trip of a lifetime but they have no idea of their location. In order to win, they must figure out their mystery locations. Once they're on the blacked-out Destination X bus, the journey turns into a real-life game board, with challenges designed to offer clues as to their location, along with a few misdirects to keep them guessing.
At the end of each episode, the contestant who places an X on a map furthest from the actual location packs their bags. The first participant to reach Destination X will be crowned the winner.
