Nastya lives with her parents in a remote village near a railway crossing. Her family is full of love, happiness and care. But a tragedy struck when trying to save his daughter rushing in her sledge under wheels of a truck Nasty father dies and Nastya gravely injured got into an intensive care unit...A period of misfortune has started for Nastya's mom. 10 years later. Now Nastya is a 20-year old confined to a wheel-chair and has to be begging at the same crossing. Her mother can't cope with the loss of her beloved husband and is unable to help her daughter and seeks consolation in alcohol. It seems this hard, hopeless and useless existence would never end for both of them. Once a popular singer died in an accident at the sinister crossing and Nastya and her mom have witnessed this horrible drama unintentionally. To keep her silent Nastya's mom was given money to pay for her daughter's treatment. And the girl's life has radically changed. She gets into a totally different world of beautiful, successful and rich people...But this world is filled with tragedy, love affairs, betrayals, suffering and cruel games.
