
Star King (2007-2016)
The first South Korean reality series to simultaneously air on television and online, "Star King" is a highly successful variety show showcasing the amazing, humorous and entertaining talents of children and adults from all over the world. The show debuted in January 2007 and continues to air on the SBS network. Guests can upload their videos or stories on the show's Web site or come in the studio to showcase their surprising talents, and then the audience members vote for their favorite. The person or group receiving the most audience votes wins the coveted title of "Star King" and can either win cash prizes or choose to challenge the winner from the previous show for bigger prizes. Popular MC Kang Ho Dong hosts the show, along with Boom (Lee Min Ho).
