Before there was Emeril, there was The Galloping Gourmet, hosted by Graham Kerr. Kerr, a charming, engaging host who brought a flair of flamboyance as he galloped center stage (literally leaping over a dining room chair while swirling a glass of wine to open every show. Graham taped into the culinary good life, with recipes heavy in butter, cream and fat paired with wine and delicious, guilt-free hilarity. The series was produced by his wife Treena Kerr for CTV in Canada and syndication in the US and elsewhere.
