The Rosamunde Pilcher Collection (1993- )
The British writer Rosamunde Pilcher is the namesake of the successful ZDF film series. Based on their novels, more than 100 television films are made, whose emotional stories full of love and passion, tragic accidents and dramatic strokes of fate are always embedded in the picturesque landscapes of English or Scottish coastal regions. This mostly strongly romanticized world of great feelings and dreamlike backdrops has given ZDF the best ratings since 1993.
