Episode 1
A woman falls getting off a bus and badly cuts her leg, and a pharmacist calls 999, worried that a child's rash could be a sign of meningitis. A holiday ends abruptly when a cut to a man's arm won't stop bleeding. A woman with cerebral palsy can't walk and needs medical help, and a man has a heart rate so low he could go into cardiac arrest at any moment.

Episode 2
Two paramedic crews rush to a man who is said to not be breathing, but there's a surprise in store when they arrive. Too much alcohol leaves a young woman collapsed unconscious in the street. A man is woken in the night with severe chest pains. A two-year-old has a seizure, and a 23-month-old has a large lump on their head as a result of a fall.

An anxious mother calls for help when her nine-week-old baby can't go to the toilet

Episode 4
Paramedics are called to a man who's bleeding from his ears, a woman who's recently had bowel surgery and is losing blood, and an eight-month-old with a fever.

Episode 5
Paramedics treat a patient whose blood sugar levels are the highest they've ever seen, a toddler with croup, and an intoxicated man who has badly cut his head.

Episode 6
Paramedics are called to a woman who has been involved in a road traffic collision having only recently recovered from a back injury caused by a previous car accident. The paramedics also treat a patient showing signs of sepsis who has a heart rate of 200. The heart cannot sustain such a workload and eventually will stop if not treated urgently.

Episode 7
A woman hits her head collapsing in a bus shelter, and a paramedic with a phobia of mannequins is watched over by two life-size dolls while treating a man with chest pains. An 11-month-old ends up with a deep cut to his forehead, and a 90-year-old man with stabbing pains in his chest asks the paramedics to just let him go if it's serious.

Episode 8
Paramedics treat a man with diabetes, whose blood sugar levels are very high. A woman ventures outside her home for the first time in months and ends up collapsed at the end of her drive. A toddler has a temperature of 40 and a heart rate of 216. A man is in severe pain after surgery to repair a hernia and a 92-year-old man falls and can't get up.

Episode 9
Paramedics get a category one call to a child who's struggling to breathe and a drunk man outside a police station refuses to move, putting himself at risk for hypothermia.

Episode 10
A family flee their home as fire breaks out. All the emergency services are sent to the scene. While queuing in a fish and chip shop, a woman collapses with a possible stroke. The mottled appearance of a two-year-old's skin, coupled with an increased temperature, prompts a mother to ring for an ambulance.
