A truck driver is trapped in his crushed cab after a motorway smash and the team are forced to consider amputation.
Hundreds of sleeping people are in danger as a massive fire sweeps through an industrial site - and the medics must brave toxic smoke to save them. On a freezing night in the outskirts of Leeds, a man is feared to be trying to commit suicide on the remote banks of canal. Paramedics Johnny and James are sent to save him.
In Hull, firefighters are forced to handcuff a man to the rails of the Humber Bridge after he tries to throw himself into the waters of the estuary, 250ft below. A patient with a brain tumour is trapped in her own home after she suffers life-threatening seizures and Charlie team must rescue her from a cramped upstairs bedroom.
In Leeds, a man plunges off a motorway bridge, breaking both his legs and the team must restore blood-flow to his feet. And a school trip to the woods ends in agony for a teacher when he falls and injures his ankles on a steep slope. The HART team deploy their rope rescue equipment to haul him to safety.

The team launch a desperate fight to save the life of a woman knifed by her former partner. There's a dramatic rescue operation after a car careers down a roadside ravine and a falling tree injures a teenager.
Episode 4
A paramedic climbs into a crushed car precariously balanced over a fast-flowing river to treat its badly injured driver. There's a major rescue operation after a man plunges from a bridge onto a busy rail line and a patient's fear of needles jeopardises her treatment after a car crash.
Episode 5
A teenager is stabbed in the street and the team must save him. In West Yorkshire, the medics are called to treat police officers who've fallen ill after a drugs raid on a house, and a mysterious 999 call leads to a cannabis seizure.
Episode 6
The team treat a lorry driver trapped behind his twisted steering wheel and help is urgently required for a 12-year-old who appears to be drunk after drinking an unknown substance.
Episode 7
A woman is stabbed to death in her Pennine home and the team are called in to the murder scene to treat the man who is the prime suspect. Fire breaks out in a high-rise flat block and HART are called in after tenants living above the blaze refuse to leave their homes.
Episode 8
A major fire breaks out in a haulage depot in Brighouse and a serious accident at an illegal off-road biking site leads to a rider needing urgent hospital treatment.
Episode 9
A skier falls over on a steep slope and suffers a suspected brain injury in Wakefield and a DIY enthusiast's attempts to fix the heating in his chilly home end in disaster.
Episode 10
The start of the new school term leads of a spate of stabbings and a forester is badly injured in an accident involving a chainsaw deep in woods near Keighley.
