While at their respective jobs, Stephanie and Ajay realize that they have forgotten their first wedding anniversary. They each appeal their parents to set up a special a evening and make it appear that it was all pre-planned.

Ajay wants to learn Mandarin to help him at work. Stephanie and Rosalind try to help him. Uma thinks that it is time for Stephanie to learn Hindi. Vincent takes over Walter's school assignment.

Time Together
Ajay and Stephanie give Rosalind and Uma credit cards. The couple have been spending too much time focusing on work so much to Ajay's displeasure Stephanie decides that they will take up fencing.

Pimple Boy
Ajay has an very important bank client (with a weird sense of humor) over to dinner who is under the impression that Priya is Ajay's wife and that Stephanie is the maid. Walter is plagued by an prominent pimple that the adults will not allow him to pop.

She Works Hard for the Money
Qwen has finally pushed Stephanie too far, she quits her job. Stephanie vows to become an housewife with the help of Uma and Lakshmi, while Ajay becomes a verbally abusive pig.

What a Tangled Hair Web We Weave
A pushy little girl who has been chasing Walter turns her obsessive behavior toward Ajay. Stephanie and Owen use an Uma look-a-like to sell cooking oil, making Uma wonder why people are asking her for her autograph. Vincent is worried about his hair.

Owen begs everyone to tell him how to find Priya. Rosalind purchases a pregnancy test kit.

Stephanie has come down with chicken pox, scaring Ajay out of their apartment. Rosalind and Uma take classes in Chinese Opera, scaring everyone. Owen continues to chase after Priya.

A Man of Substance
With Stephanie away on business, Ajay wants some alone time. He ends up accidentally insulting Uma who gets revenge by using Owen as a son-substitute; but Owen is using Uma to get Priya's attention.

Vincent comes out of retirement to take up his dream job, making Stephanie feel that she may be holding Ajay back from his ideals.

Ajay's female boss aggressively pursues him. Vincent has been hired as a substitute mathematics teacher and is harassed by the students. It appears that Priya may give in to Owen's relentless attention.

The bank offers Ajay his dream job; a two year posting in New York, but Stephanie does not want to go.
