Episode 1
When 70-year-old Peter arrives at hospital with a dangerously high heart rate, Dr Chris and the medical team have to act fast to prevent him going into cardiac arrest. Minors sees 18-year-old Ryan arrive with a nasty gash on his leg. Medical staff are faced with a patient who has attempted to commit suicide by jumping into a river. While walking home, 38-year-old John had a serious fall, bending his knee in the wrong direction, and nine-year-old Max arrives in A&E with his mum after getting a pencil rubber stuck in his ear.

Episode 2
The staff of Hull Royal Infirmary are shocked when a young man is brought in with lifethreatening stab wounds. While the hospital is receiving large numbers of ambulances, a patient in a gown thinks it'd be a good idea to steal one… when a large number of police officers are in the hospital grounds to confront him. Dr Ayman and Dr Jehad team up to manipulate 20-year-old Tom's ankle back into position after an accident playing football. Elderly Jimmy and Penny had travelled hundreds of miles and been awake for 20 hours trying to reach their goddaughter's wedding, when Jimmy tripped and smashed his face onto a kerb.

Episode 3
The night staff at Hull Royal Infirmary battle to save the sight of 51-year-old Patricia who tripped and impaled her eye on a tent peg. After falling 15 feet down a ditch after taking a wrong turn on her mobility scooter after a night out on holiday, 58-year-old Carmen is flown from Skegness by air ambulance. Dr Jonnie and Sister Lisa treat 52-year-old Mark, who fell over at a party. After tripping at home getting his dinner, 81-year-old Thomas arrives into A&E with his son-in-law.

A 69-year-old fisherman is brought into resus helicopter; a man is bleeding in his brain.

Dr. Ben and Charlotte help Jane who has a heart rate more than double the average.

After a brain injury erases the last eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she's treated, colleagues she's crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.
