Sammyjo has some news about boyfriend Gary. At the city centre tattoo studio, recently qualified piercer Jade struggles with her confidence. Jarrow boxer Ewan is nervous ahead of his all-important brain scan and his cousin Nathan starts a weight-loss journey with the help of his mates.
I'm a nice person, but with a big head
Salon junior Molly steps up her skills with the aim of getting a pay rise while Jade has a bloody shocker with a piercing. Meanwhile, Kallie is nervous as boyfriend Ewan finally has his brain scan which will decide his fate.

Sammyjo lets Shannon G into her plans for the dream house she will share with Gary. Tattoo apprentice Arik takes the tattoo gun to his own leg before stepping up to ink boss Shane.

Sammyjo enlists the Longlox girls' help as she makes plans for her and Gary's first anniversary, while piercer Carmen wants to pierce below the waist. After Nathan's third weigh-in, the Bilton boys head off for a night's camping.

Shane starts preparing for life as an uncle as Jade's baby bump grows, Carmen gets disappointing news about her piercing plans, the Bilton boys save the day for Robbie's mum, and at Longlox, Sammyjo's plans for a new tattoo take a surprising turn.

Pro-boxer Ewan's fighting career hits a stumbling block. At Pure Ink, Shane makes a big error with Carmen's name plate, and over at the salon Sammyjo's workload takes its toll. while Molly proves she's been underestimated by her fellow Longlox girls.
A lot can happen in two months
With Jade off sick, Shane misses a detail as he is stretched at Pure Ink. In Jarrow, Ewan and the boys are focused on the future, while at Longlox there's a major makeover and Sammyjo's life changes in a big way.
