Following on from the huge success of the 2012 Olympic Games, London is again the host city as the world's finest athletes gather for fierce competition on track and field as Gabby Logan looks ahead to the World Athletics Championships.

The greatest sprinter of all time, Jamaica's Usain Bolt, is expected to make his final appearance at these championships as the eight-time Olympic champion and fastest man on the planet goes for yet more glory in the 100m.

Other superstars on show include Britain's finest-ever distance runner Mo Farah, who will attempt to add to his historic ‘triple-double' in the 5000m and 10,000m after winning both races at London 2012, the 2015 World Championships in Beijing and 2016 Rio Olympics.
