Bonobos, Grey Seals, Cheetah & Lemur
Two rare bonobo babies are both rejected by their mothers. Keepers step in to hand-raise the babies and begin the potentially dangerous process of re-introducing them to the other bonobos in a zoo. Two baby seals are rescued off the UK coastline. In France, we witness the birth of four cheetah cubs. A lemur mother struggles to keep an eye on her newborn twins as they learn to climb.

African Penguin, Southern White Rhino, Red Panda & Black Panther
A team battles to save the African penguin from extinction. Meanwhile, we follow a remarkable story of an orphaned white rhino calf - shot and left for dead by poachers - that is saved by a wildlife vet. In Canada, two endangered red panda cubs struggle to survive once they're rejected by their mother. In France, an infant black panther's future is doubtful when he contracts a serious illness.

Vervet Monkey, Siberian Tiger, Collard Peccary & Spider Monkey
This episode follows a unique project in Africa that uses surrogate monkey mothers to care for orphaned vervet babies. In the UK, two Siberian tiger cubs face hostile reception from their own dad. In North America, a newborn peccary with deformed front legs is taught to walk. In France, a vet performs a cesarean section on a pregnant spider monkey to save both mother and baby.

Puma, Common Wombat, Marmoset & Giant Anteater
A cub is flown across South Africa in a race to save its life from a mysterious illness. In Australia, a tiny wombat is rescued after being found alive in his dead mother's pouch following a road accident. In the UK, a marmoset is hand-reared at its keeper's house after the mother rejects it. Finally, keepers celebrate the first ever giant anteater birth in France.

Black Bears, Lions, Snow Leopard & Sifaka
Two black bear cubs are found abandoned. Meanwhile, a domestic dog becomes best friends with a snow leopard cub. In the UK, it is a race to locate the cause of a mysterious illness threatening the lives of four young lion cubs. In Europe, a hospital incubator is used to save a rare sifaka baby.
