Two longtime friends, Evelina and Milla, meet again after years at the funeral of their friend Adriana, who died in an accident. The two decide to help the widower, Fosco, with the sale of a house. The balance is shattered when suspicion arises that Adriana's death was not a simple accident.
Resurfacing
With the disappearance of Adriana's computer, the shadow of murder becomes more concrete, and Evelina and Milla begin their investigation. Amid omissions, tensions at the pasta factory, and clashes at the Academy, unexpected passions and shocking revelations emerge, ultimately directing suspicion toward a single person.
Staying Afloat Is Not Swimming
Evelina investigates Adriana's death and discovers that Fosco was already in a new relationship. At the Academy, she tries to keep her distance from Riccardo, while Milla tackles work at the pasta factory with Cesare's help. Meanwhile, Congias draws closer to Evelina and Carlotta to Riccardo, while Emanuele and Susanna pursue their relationship, stirring Flaminia's jealousy.
