He puts his own life in danger when Sarah Jane and the rest of the community shun him – everyone but Ceitidh, the only one who takes pity on him. Sarah Jane learns the truth about Alasdair after she's delivered her news to a devastated Cailean. He is overcome by fury and no one is keeping an eye on wee Donnie playing in the garden… Things go from bad to worse for Jo and Pòl as they are finally tracked down. Iain takes a big step and finally admits what he's really feeling, reuniting with his father to try and help Donna.
