He puts his own life in danger when Sarah Jane and the rest of the community shun him – everyone but Ceitidh, the only one who takes pity on him. Despite Finlay's concerns, Donna is optimistic for the future, though Iain distances himself from the family and keeps himself busy working on the estate.

Isla is keen to take things to the next level with her potential suitor and believes she's figured out the real reason it's not moving on as she'd hoped. Donna and Finlay struggle to be honest with each other about their feelings, while Iain gets an unexpected lodger in his bothy.

Episode 4
Sarah Jane learns the truth about Alasdair after she's delivered her news to a devastated Cailean. He is overcome by fury and no one is keeping an eye on wee Donnie playing in the garden… Things go from bad to worse for Jo and Pòl as they are finally tracked down. Iain takes a big step and finally admits what he's really feeling, reuniting with his father to try and help Donna.
