The Copperhead

In "Copperhead," a gun taken from a robbery suspect is found to be a rare Wexurn Copperhead, that supposedly was disposed of in the ocean after being confiscated months earlier in a police operation. The man who supervised that operalion was Sergeant Lew Simons, who is nearing his retirement. With Simons under suspicion, Officers Foley and Burdick are assigned to patrol over a harbor district where peculiar activities have been reported.
