After being informed by Simon that the Cold Squad is being folded into other units, and that her position has been eliminated, Ali storms out of Dick's tavern. Digesting the news while driving her car, she hits a teen-aged boy standing in the street.

While Ali is suspended and Tony recovers from gunshot wounds, Coscarella investigates the source of the automatic weapons, and he runs into another agency on the same trail.

Ali, Mickey, Nicco, and Frank each question a former foster child about a house fire that killed their foster mother 20 years before.

Ali and Frank try to connect the murder of a sex worker in Blood Alley to a serial murderer they investigated years before. Bailey's daughter sees Mickey and Bailey kissing on a crowded sidewalk and confronts them.

After Anita is found murdered, Frank and Nicco take it upon themselves to prove Lance did it, even though, as an active murder case, it is not within their jurisdiction.
