A ventriloquist has a cheeky secret; a son takes a rather officious line with his father; a coal miner goes ballroom dancing; and there's a peculiar military discharge in the desert.
Episode 3
This week there's a pregnancy to announce; a burglar is mistaken for Peter Pan; vicars have an odd TV discussion; and a man chases a fly.
Episode 4
There's some Gossip Calypso; a butler seems rather put-upon; a female traffic warden has a harsh approach to male drivers; and old military ranks re-emerge in Park Lane.
Episode 5
A bank clerk reveals his secret identity; there are curious goings-on in a mens' sauna; a cross-channel swim attempt takes place; and a housewife takes in a lodger without telling her husband.
