Episode 1
Cameras return to the front line of Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital, following a man who fell from a scaffold, impaling himself upon a flagpole. Also, a 73-year-old faces life changing injuries after an accident at home, and an open neck wound needs emergency surgery.

Episode 2
Jackie is rushed into the emergency room, with two life threatening stab wounds to her abdomen. The knife is still in place and the medical team need to find out what internal organs are damaged. Farmer Matt is airlifted to Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital after losing control of his quad bike and crashing head first into a tree. He has suffered multiple fractures to his skull, and there is a bleed on the brain.

Episode 3
At The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Birmingham, Colin is rushed into the emergency room with life changing injuries after a firework exploded in his hand. Abdul arrives at the emergency room with serious injuries from being hit by a car, followed by Mark, who has fallen down a flight of stairs and suffered a traumatic cardiac arrest.
