Vanishing Acts

Two stories feature deadly wives willing to do anything to make their husbands disappear. First, Lynn Stomps and her husband Gerry, live on a tree farm in Oregon. When the couple arranges to meet a buyer for their boat--everything goes wrong-Lynn winds up injured, and Gerry disappears. But when police start probing Lynn's story, their search for clues leads them to a grisly and unexpected truth. Across the country, New Jersey nurse, Melanie McGuire and her husband Bill, have worked hard and are finally buying their dream house. Despite the new home, there is tension in the marriage and following a nasty argument, Bill packs up, leaves, and disappears without a trace. Melanie tells police that Bill is a gambler, and they begin looking for him in Atlantic City--yet, nothing prepares them for how and where they will find Bill McGuire.
