Tension rises between Laurent and his son. Chiasson tells Nadine how he would ideally like to conclude this affair. However, this type of compromise hardly fits with the rigorous principles of the young investigator. Laurent presents himself at the station with Félix and his lawyer, Me Morais. They are ready to tell everything, but under certain conditions, but Nadine is not willing to give them any gifts before taking Félix's statement. Chiasson then calls her into his office to congratulate her. And as Laurent has decided to retire under the circumstances, he offers him his position as detective lieutenant.
