After successfully completing his training, Goku rests on the spaceship in preparation for the final battle on Planet Namek. Meanwhile, Krillin and Gohan finally arrive at the Elder's place, where they encounter Vegeta. They manage to draw out Gohan's power, but it is no match for Vegeta's. Then, five large powers approach Planet Namek.

The Ginyu Force finally arrives on Planet Namek. The only way to defeat them is to make Vegeta immortal with the power of the Dragon Balls... Krillin and the others work with Vegeta to collect the Dragon Balls, but then the Ginyu Force appears.

The battle with the Ginyu Force begins, as Gohan and Krillin launch a barrage of explosive energy blasts at Guldo! The Heroes are rendered helpless by Guldo's Mind Blind technique, and this time, there is no one to save them!

Finally, Goku arrives. Understanding the entire situation, Goku gives Senzu Beans not only to Gohan and Krillin, but also to Vegeta. After making sure that the three are well, Goku goes up against Recoome by himself. Krillin and the others are worried that Goku is too calm, but Goku defeats Recoome with just one blow.

Jeice and Burter let their guard down when they see Goku's power level of 5,000 on their scouter, and begin their attack. However, even when the two of them launch direct attacks using their boastworthy speed, they are unable to land a single blow. Feeling that they are at a disadvantage in the hand-to-hand combat, the two finally activate their combined technique. 

At Last, a Direct Confrontation!! Captain Ginyu Takes the Field

In order to get Jeice and Burter to back off, Goku knocks Burter unconscious with one blow, showing the difference in their strength. Frightened by Goku's power, Jeice flies off to Commander Ginyu. Vegeta, infuriated that Jeice had escaped, finishes off Burter and Recoome, and berates Goku for being too soft on him. Meanwhile, Ginyu receives Jeice's report...
