Taking on our awesome quiz champions on Wednesday are the Hotdogs. This team met 10 years ago at Manchester Metropolitan University. Their team name is inspired by their tradition of meeting up every Saturday at a local deli to enjoy a Bratwurst hotdog.
Smokies on the Water
Hoping to wipe the smiles off the Eggheads' faces on Thursday are Smokies on the Water. This friends and family team took inspiration for their name from the Arbroath Smokie, a delicacy from Nicola and her mum Alana's home town, and Derrick's love of rock music.
Top Landing Gear
Hoping to scramble the Eggheads on Friday are Top Landing Gear. This team of aviation enthusiasts take their name from the podcast they started two years ago. It's about all things flying related and features a quiz at the end of each show.
