Emmerdale - Season 36

Paul is disgruntled when Rodney talks to him yet again about his commitment to Jonny, but he doesn't admit his secret doubts. When Jonny tells Paul that he'll be out for the night Paul heads to the pub to drown his sorrows.

Paul has spent the night at his mum's and he heads over to see Jonny to smooth things over. But Jonny is devastated by Paul's betrayal and refuses to forgive him.

Eli is wild with jealousy when he learns that Debbie's got a new bloke and Chas realises that he's smitten with his cousin. Eli goes to the garage to see Debbie and questions her about Sean, but she warns him off. Eli is even more miserable when Debbie meets Sean in the pub in a knockout dress and he glumly watches them leave for a meal in Hotten.

Eli is downbeat about Debbie's new relationship but on his bin run, he spots Sean outside a house with what appears to be his wife and children!

Jo is troubled by her deteriorating relationship with Andy and Jack picks up on the tension. Jack tells Jo that Andy loves her and he will need her more than ever if he gets sent down.

Jasmine and Miles go to the hospital where Donald is on a life support machine and they hide when they see Nicola. The pair begin to bond over Nicola's catalogue of evil deeds and Jasmine's feelings for Miles begin to grow.

Miles falls off the wagon when Nicola finds him and brings up his mother. Victoria continues to be rude to Diane, and Emily tries to make amends with Lisa and Debbie.

Jasmine's article about Nicola makes the front page, leaving Rodney shocked about her behaviour. Jack has a heart-to-heart with Victoria about Diane and Paul and Jonny grow closer.

Nicola seduces David and Jasmine wonders if he was faithful when they were together. Chas and Lexi sell their bionic bears and Katie and Gray grow closer.

Grayson is horrified when he learns that Donna and Ross came across Rosemary's car abandoned in the bushes close to one of the Kings' properties, Manor Farm.
 

Gray tries to convince Katie to keep the baby, and uses bad news from the police in a bid to persuade her. Jack considers an offer on Annie's cottage, leaving Diane devastated.

Nicola and David's plans are disrupted with the news of Donald's recovery. Gray drowns his sorrows at the pub with Diane and can't resist making a pass at Paul when they are alone together.

It's New Year's Eve and after discovering that Rosmary is to be buried next to their father, Matt storms into the Woolpack on the stroke of midnight and punches Grayson in the face. Lexi and Chas make a vow to stay single in 2008.
