In this first episode, it's opening night at the brand-new Best of British pub near Orlando where owners Martin and Beverley have poured their savings and their hearts into their new business. Over in St Pete Beach, Dan is working hard on his plan to become an estate agent in Florida's competitive high-end real estate market.

The staff of the Best of British pub in Orlando add afternoon tea to their offering, only for the scones to suffer in the 40-degree heat. Estate agent Denise tries to sell her cherished former family home and beauty editor Donna prepares for a big TV break.

The Best of British pub prepares for St George's Day, complete with a classic red London bus. Teenager Billy chases his football dream in St Pete Beach, while in Tampa, estate agent Justine has luxury flats to sell and a sunset cruise to plan.

Irish dance teacher Sarah has the busiest day of her school year - St Patrick's Day - as she shows off her students' talents all over town, including at the very bar where she met her husband, Scott. Can she combine a hectic dance routine with her own wedding celebration? It's a busy day for Kay Rawlins too, as she counts down to kick-off in her job as founder of one of the biggest soccer clubs in the USA. But she hasn't forgotten her roots in Stoke. Donna and Dan pay a surprise visit to their teenage son Oliver as he works poolside in his summer job at one of the most famous hotels in Florida - the Don CeSar - where his parents spent their first holiday together over 30 years ago.

In Orlando at the Best of British pub, owner Martin sees if his mad ideas have paid off. It's been open for five months now, and a journalist comes to review its famous fish and chips, but is the pub a success with Brits and Americans alike? Its walkies for Sarah, her husband Scott and their two-year-old daughter Sorcha, who step in when staff don't turn up to the dog walking business which has 2,000 dogs on its books. Anthony Fothergill and his wife Mitchelle are going back into business with their catering venture that they put on hold while Mitchelle battled cancer. An exciting day awaits, as they prepare a tasting menu for a very important bunch of Florida-based Brits.

Sidhbh and Neasa gamble on moving their plastic surgery clinic. David and Gina consider retirement after hurricanes wreck their holiday apartment business. Laura and Lindsay prepare for a new arrival in the Disney-designed small town of Celebration.

David and Gina rebuild their hurricane-wrecked properties. Sidhbh and Neasa hope their elderly parents will fall in love with the Miami lifestyle. Laura and Lindsay invite their Florida friends to a baby shower before the mum-to-be heads for the delivery room.

Sidhbh and Neasa prepare their new plastic surgery clinic in Miami for its first clients. Laura and Lindsay steel themselves for the eyewatering cost of childbirth in Florida. David and Gina finally open their refurbished holiday rentals for business.

Attendance at Pastor Simon's church declined during Covid. He's hoping an Easter Sunday sunrise service on his local Atlantic beach will boost his congregation, but it looks like it'll take a miracle to get everything organised in time. Adam and Wayne attempt to put on a live show of their successful Fish'n'Brits podcast to celebrate its first year on air. Laura and Lindsay celebrate the arrival of their son Elliott with a family outing to the Universal theme park where they were married 10 years ago.

Sidhbh and Neasa launch their new Miami clinic with a party in an operating theatre and a signature cocktail. They hope other local plastic surgeons will book the space for their own operations to help pay off some of its multi-million-dollar cost. Tony and Keegan head to Florida's original theme park to film a review for their YouTube channel and try out some new filming techniques.
