The First Dates Hotel is back for a brand new series, as an eclectic array of arrivals check in searching for a suitable soulmate. Eager to impress, excited singletons of all ages dot the sun-drenched poolside, with no idea who their dates are going to be. Manager Fred and his team of Cupids are on hand to manage this five star Hotel di Amore, catering to every whim and desire. Injecting a dose of much-needed La Dolce Vita, the First Dates Hotel is packed full of unlikely chemistry, roaring rivalries and heart-warming stories.

Episode 1
First to nab a lounger poolside is royal family-obsessed perfumer Perry, who's already turning heads in some natty gold lamé trunks. He's on the scent for a man who can get the seal of approval from his beloved mum and dog Dolly. His match is 43 year old art dealer Naveed, whose pre-date nerves could be his undoing.
Six foot three buff single dad and builder Richard is dying to find someone he can resonate with on a spiritual level. Heart-broken after the breakup of his marriage, he's checked in hoping to restore his faith in love. Cue primary school-teacher and former model Carly. A perfect match from the beginning, the chemistry is palpable... that is until a mid-date revelation threatens the wrong kind of fireworks.
26 year old Robyn may work as a receptionist for a luxury car firm, but her love life is stuck in first gear. Having always felt like the ugly duckling compared to her gorgeous group of 'galfriends', her mum has invested in her daughter's love life with her vey own copy of "Why Men Love Bitches". The key piece of advice? Men love the chase. "Treat them mean and keep them keen" is Robyn's mantra. Will she struggle to keep her cool when she comes face to face with her dream man... Six foot two rugby player Michael?

Episode 2
Perfecting his mating call poolside is unlucky in love radio station manager, Paul, a man with a secret past. Now the other side of 40, his biological clock is ticking. His date is 39 year old Anna, who has sacrificed love for a career dancing on cruise ships. An instant connection over their song and dance backgrounds gets the date off to a good start, but Paul's secret is hanging over them, and he's very reluctant to reveal it.
Fun-loving Sheffield lawyer Lianne won't take her makeup off for just any man, after years of bad relationships have left her insecure about her looks. More than up to the challenge is fellow legal eagle Sia – who has checked in looking for his first ever girlfriend. A thunderbolt of chemistry hits the pair as they meet for a cocktail in the bar, leaving the couple shaken and stirred. Could Lianne be the one to end Sia's love drought?
Checking out the view poolside is 21 year philosophy student Finn... who suffers from a terminal case of "Romeo Syndrome", always falling in love with the first girl he sees. With 24 year old primary school teacher Georgia set firmly in his sights, this Romeo definitely thinks he's found his Juliet. Sadly, the love birds are already destined matches with other dates. All the same, sparks fly between the young romantics. That is until Georgia's real date, dashing business graduate Oli, checks in. As Oli begins to sweep Georgia off her feet, hopeless romantic Finn is left playing second fiddle in this burgeoning ménage a trois.

Episode 3
The stage is set for another sizzling day in Southern Italy as the First Dates Hotel checks in a new raft of UK singles hoping romance will sparkle under the Mediterranean sun.
Among the guests is former international jazz singer, 83 year old Dorit, a holocaust survivor with many a tale to tell. She's looking for a meeting of minds with a "grey-haired stud", and stepping up to the plate is history buff and poetry lover, John. At 82 and with a cheeky promise to become her toy boy he soon realises he has his work cut out to win this formidable lady's heart.

Episode 4
Hairdresser Amie is looking for a partner who is a cut above the rest, and when she meets her date - 30-year-old Kurt - they quickly realise they are speaking the same language. But is it the language of love? Others being paired up are restaurant manager Matt and marketing executive Dania, and part-time actor Simon and Disney-loving fellow thespian James

Episode 5
Heads turn at the poolside when a VIP arrives in the shape of actor and Blue singer Duncan James. Having spent years in the closet, Duncan has entrusted Fred Sirieix with finding him his first public date as an openly gay man. Also appearing are twice-married single mum Jessica, who hopes sweet-natured ex-soldier Dean will past her prominent assets, and Italian-born Maddie, who likes the idea of a cool nerd with the looks of Harry Potter. Will maths whizz Daniel fit the bill?

Episode 6
After Duncan James' arrival last week, Ulrika Jonsson, Pete Wicks and AJ Odudu join him in the hotel of romance. Ulrika says she simply wants a man who makes her laugh. Can Bristol businessman Paul tickle the former weathergirl's ribs? Towie star Pete hopes that eco-fashion designer Emily will see past his bad-boy reputation and TV presenter AJ, who is nursing a broken heart, goes on a date with ex-model Duke. Is her luck about to change? Plus, an update on how Duncan and Joao are getting on since they were paired up last week
