Episode 1
Maitre d' Fred and his team of matchmakers invite more singletons to the luxury hotel in the hope of finding love in the sun. A string of unhappy relationships has left 24-year-old Thalia with a phobia of kissing. Her date with 25-year-old Essex lad Jack date gets off to a great start after a discovery of a shared love of sharks. Widower Tony is looking for someone to share his twilight years and is paired with the glamorous Lesley, a fellow East Ender. However, a surprising differing of political opinions threatens to derail their date.

Episode 2
Six-foot gym owner and ex-military man Richard is paired with Emilia. Despite his muscular appearance, he is a sensitive soul who loves musicals and Harry Potter, and his Asperger's leaves him unable to read what others are thinking, so mid-date he is forced to ask Emilia how he is doing. Meanwhile, 40-year-old hotelier Andy arrives at Vesuvius for his first ever date with a man, 37-year-old bouncer Joseph, and police officer Angie hooks up with car salesman Tom, who is determined to leave his stereotypical lad image behind.

Barmaid Hattie has heard all the worst chat-up lines but has never had a real relationship. Will things turn around when she is paired with gentle giant Lawrence, a self-professed mummy's boy whose energy is the perfect match for hers? After being single for 24 years, retired dock worker Albert hopes thrill-seeking great-grandmother Carol will be impressed by his yacht, and airline flight dispatcher Ollie thinks he has found the perfect match in cancer nurse Debs when it turns out they are both love knitting and baking.

Twenty-seven-year-old salesman James is paired with 31-year-old Serena, who is looking for a reformed bad boy after a history of dating disasters. Fifty-year-old cancer survivor Sara is impressed with her match, fellow fitness fanatic Peter, and 39-year-old singleton Rose opens up about her Crohn's disease to her date Jordan - something she always does on a first date to see if men are put off.
