Season 9
Animal lover extraordinaire Paul O'Grady is back for a brand new series at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, ready to meet a whole new round of canine friends. Series 9 of the National TV Award winning programme will be filled with laughter and tears in equal measure, as Paul is faced with more abandoned and stray dogs, meets a few canine heroes and falls in love with some precious puppies along the way.
Paul joins the team at Battersea as they help more dogs with incredible stories, from a terrier saved from drowning in the River Thames, to a dog found riddled with pellets from a gun. Paul and the team are on hand to give them some much needed rest and rehabilitation in the hope of finding them a loving new home to call their own.

Episodes

Episode 1
In episode one, Paul's babysitting duties are required, for some adorable Staffie pups born at Battersea eight weeks previously. Their mum was brought in after being found roaming the streets, heavily pregnant. Sadly she rejected the pups so Charlotte, Onion, Delilah, Gary, Waffle, Mary and Hippo have all been hand-reared by the staff at Battersea. Paul is confident the angelic pups will be no trouble at all, until he meets them…

Episode 2
In episode two, Paul meets some very special dogs who need to go to unconventional homes.
10-month-old Marti has been brought in to Battersea twice for being a bit lively, but Paul realises he's very clever and thinks he has some star potential and could possibly become an acting dog.
Paul helps to train Peaches and Macey, a pair of highly intelligent spaniel sisters who might be able to make it as sniffer dogs with Border Force at Heathrow airport.
Paul also helps to soothe a beautiful pointer cross who's had a very hard life. An X-ray reveals the poor girl must have been shot at in the past as the pellets are still in her skin.

Episode 3
In episode three, Paul goes rogue when he's asked to help bottlefeed a pair of week-old kittens whose mother had abandoned them. He falls head over heels for them but as they grow older the team discover one of them has a neurological problem affecting his movement. Paul helps to socialise a gang of dogs who arrive from a puppy farm where they were used for breeding. The dogs have had very little human interaction so they need to learn how to be dogs, from scratch. Paul also meets a tearaway labradoodle pup who ends up going to a very glamorous home.

Episode 4
In episode four Paul meets a nine-month-old terrier called Roo who is far too young to have puppies but was found roaming the streets heavily pregnant. A Saluki cross arrives at Battersea after being found dumped with a terrible case of mange and a bad wound in her leg. It's touch and go whether she'll make it but Paul's on hand to help nurse her back to health. Paul also meets a gorgeous three-month-old pug puppy called Pancake, who's having problems with his vision, but won't let anything get him down.

Episode 5
In episode five Paul falls in love with an Akita who doesn't seem to know he's an Akita. Normally they're aloof and standoffish, but Samson's like a giant teddy bear. The vet team just need to work out what's wrong with his injured nose. Paul helps an ex-racing greyhound, who's spent most of his time in kennels, get ready for life in a domestic home. He also meets a dog called Hugo who's been down on his luck, but could end up being adopted by the family who own his brother.

Episode 6
In episode six, Paul meets the most unusual looking dog he's ever seen. Boo, the albino Pekingese is riddled with health problems which make him harder to rehome. He needs an operation on his eye otherwise he might end up losing it.
Paul helps to soothe Splash, a dog who was rescued from a near death experience in the Thames and is now feeling understandably nervous.
Paul also meets Norah, a Labrador pup who wasn't vaccinated and has arrived with a mystery lurgy.

Episode 7
In episode seven, Paul meets an agoraphobic Staffy cross who is too scared to even go outside for a wee. Paul needs to think outside the box reassure Barry otherwise he'll never find a home.
When an usually quiet chihuahua arrives, Paul suspects she could be down in the dumps because she's got a limp and might be in pain.
Paul also meets a gang of four Japanese Chin crosses who've had a bit of a family tiff and need to be separated.

Episode 8
In the final episode of the series, the comedian meets a Pyrenean mountain dog that has a problem with its bladder. Elsewhere, a dog suffering from skin problems needs surgery on its eyes, and Paul also helps a West Highland white terrier that is almost twice the weight it should be get into shape.

Die Hart
Die Hart follows a fictionalized version of Kevin Hart, who's tired of being the comedic sidekick. He gets his wish when a famous director offers him his dream – to be a leading man action star – but there's a catch: Kevin must first train at the world's greatest action star school, run by a lunatic.
