After their first night in their own hotel the former staff of Grace Brothers are settling into their new roles. However, they need money to get the hotel running.

Mrs. Slocombe finds herself in court for stealing a horse-drawn cart and Mr. Humphries' relationship with Mavis Moulterd continues to develop.

A party of Americans have come to stay at the Millstone Country Hotel for a weekend. It means £1,000 plus tips, so the staff set about bringing the ageing hotel up to scratch.
Good Help is Hard to Find
After the interviews for staff fail miserably, the former Grace Brothers team must work at their own hotel. In the night, a storm knocks out the electricity with scary results.
