Baptism by Fire
Day one of anatomy class has everyone's undivided attention, except for Charlie's-who has pressing family business.
The Hunt
The students participate in a moose hunt with a Native community-complete with ritual and dispatch of the animal. Beliefs clash. Back in town Gina walks in on a robbery.
Clinic in Motion
At a rural clinic Melanie confronts a miner she believes is abusing his wife. Eva's ex-lover and band mate shows up. A goat is Charlie's reward for a good deed.
Lifeline
During a hospice visit, Gina and Melanie argue over Melanie's reporting of a wife abuser. Charlie and Farida disagree on how to help a sick mom deal with her kids.
Love, Labour, Loss
A prolonged labour is brought on by an ATV ride. In the maternity ward at the hospital Eva counsels a teen couple. Nancy comes face to face with her nursing past.
Down Under
The students head deep underground to understand what mining life is like. Charlie witnesses death and Melanie comes face to face with the man she falsely accused of spousal abuse.
Rock and a Hard Place
Gina's tuition has been mysteriously paid in full. Charlie's failure to save a dying miner sends him into a deep depression.
Gratitude
Eva brings Gary to the Rez for Thanksgiving and gets an unpleasant surprise. Nancy confides in Farida-with help from medical marijuana.

Doc
Doc centers on the hard-charging, brilliant Dr. Amy Larsen, Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis. After a brain injury erases the last eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she's treated, colleagues she's crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.
