The change of attendance is a battle
In 1861, at the end of the Tokugawa shogunate, Ichiro Onodera (Ayato Nagayama) was ordered to serve as a servant in the middle of the procession due to his father's sudden death. Then, Tono (Dai Watanabe) suddenly makes a big decision.

Two lords
The group (Ayato Nagayama) and others who crossed the difficult Wada Pass hurriedly arrived at Iwamurada-shuku to catch up with the delay. However, suddenly the funds for the trip were stolen and the procession could not proceed. While searching for the criminal, the roads visit a local merchant and run for money, but the money does not collect as expected. Knowing the plight, Daio Sakyo (Dai Watanabe) goes to greet the lord Shimamori Naito (Tatsuomi Hamada) and decides to find a solution. However, Mamoru Shima was only 17 years old and had a tough personality.

Invisible enemy
The doctor, Ryoken Tsujii (Satoshi Sakata), who accompanies the procession when Daio Sakyo (Dai Watanabe) gets sick, takes care of it. Kanjuro (Takahiro Fujimoto) and his friends look back on their travels and give words of hope to the road.
