Sophisticated New England Cottage Kitchen
Alison goes to Boston and finds a kitchen that has stood through three generations of the same family. But it is time for a change and a big one. The crew removes two walls to open up the space and then the real renovation begins with new-engineered flooring, white cabinets and countertops and a one of a kind lighting fixture made from rope and plastic hoops. Alison re-purposes the existing dining room chairs using paint to match the new blue kitchen island. The end result is a rustic yet up to date kitchen with open views of the main living quarters of the home and young family who cannot believe how quickly and beautifully Alison and the gang totally transformed this multi-generational kitchen.
