Wild rainbow trout should not occur in Norwegian nature. It is blacklisted by the Norwegian Environment Agency. Rainbow trout should only be found as farmed fish. Hardy boys Lars and Lars prove that reality is different.

Håvard Stubø and Lars Nilssen are trout hunting in Slovenia. After unsuccessful attempts with classic flies, Håvard lures a fat trout on a red rubber bait, a bait usually used to catch saithe, mackerel or cod.

It's not everyday that Lars Nilssen and Håvard Stubø are in places where fishing for trout over a kilo simply feels too easy. This is the second part of Lars Nilssen and Håvard Stubø's fishing trip in Slovenia.

Håvard Stubø hooks a gigantic Macedonian grayling, a fish that fights far harder than its Nordic cousin. In Lars Nilssen and Håvard Stubø's latest travelogue from Slovenia, they hunt for the original salmonids: the Macedonian grayling and the mysterious marmorata trout.

Svartkulp by Sognsvann is the main arena for Oslo's cruising community. It is rumored that the water is also home to some of Oslomarka's really big trout. Coincidentally? Hardly! Along the banks, the number of naked men is strikingly large. Lars and Lars pull their waders well up to their waists and check if there is any truth to the gromfisk rumors.

According to local fishermen, sea lice are a growing problem in Western Norway. Since the lice feed on the skin and blood of fish, they harm the fish, especially trout and salmon, which live in saltwater. Lars and Lars have decided to work as investigative journalists and get to the bottom of who is to blame for the increase in sea lice.

In the second episode of Lars and Lars' miniseries "Fjordmenn," the Larsens face closed doors and interview bans. They finally make contact with an outspoken aquaculture consultant and one of the world's leading salmon lice researchers.

Lars and Lars are involved in catching and clubbing escaped farmed fish in Etne and ask the question: How much damage do escaped farmed fish do to the wild salmon populations?

Lars and Lars visit a fish farm where sewage and food waste go straight into the sea without treatment, a common practice along the entire coast. Together with guys from the pellet community in Bergen, they catch a large saithe with a belly full of pellets.

Lars and Lars try to find out why the Vossolax was close to extinction in the 90s and what has been done to save it.
