Opportunity in the Attic
Emily and Ryan moved from out of state and were eager to purchase a home in an established neighborhood with a lot of young couples. After having two kids, however, Emily thinks the house is dated and wants more room for out-of-town guests. Will David find them a home to accommodate their guests or will Hilary make daily life immeasurably easier by reinventing the space within their home?

Pool House Problems
Stew and Alan have been together for 21 years and love to entertain. Alan loves the memories they have created raising three boys but now that Stew is retired and spending more time in the house, he is noticing how small and dated their space has become and is ready to move out. Will Hilary transform this home to create a house fit for family and entertaining, or will David find them a new space that the whole family will love?

Design Indecision
Gray loves his family's home because of the large lot and abundance of privacy, but April is ready to move closer to town and into a home that functions for their family of four. April dislikes their dated fixtures, finishes and master bedroom and the cut-off kitchen. Despite their desire to have a perfect space, neither can decide on design choices, and April doesn't see the merit in spending the time to renovate when there are too many projects to tackle.

Not Enough Bedrooms
Quincy and Don have outgrown their ranch house where they've raised their kids. While Quincy is ready to move, Don loves their neighborhood and wants to make their rancher work. No matter their decision, the couple is desperate for more space and must decide if they will love this home again, or if they'll list it.

Laundry Overload
With two children and a third on the way, life for Breanne and Justin is fun but hectic. Justin is already overwhelmed with the daily struggles of living in a small house, including limited laundry space and bathroom availability, but Breanne loves the chaos and feels there's plenty of potential in their current home. Designer Hilary will try to reinvent the space and address all of Justin's concerns while real estate agent David tries to find them the perfect home for their growing family.

Tree House Trouble
After looking at dozens of properties, Ken and Mark settled on a cabin-inspired home in the woods that was a foreclosure and needed a lot of work. The couple had dabbled in DIY renos in the past and thought they could tackle the project themselves, but little has been done in five years. Ken has had enough and is ready to abandon this house that no longer functions for them, but Mark still believes the home has potential and is desperate to make it work. Will designer Hilary complete their long to-do list, or will real estate agent David find them a new space that the couple can enjoy together?

Overseas Oversight
While living overseas, Jeff and Callie bought a house online without ever stepping a foot inside. After they moved in, Callie was not too pleased and felt the home was much smaller than it had seemed in pictures. Expecting her first child, Callie feels there is not enough space for their growing family and requires too much work to make it livable. Can this couple love their home with designer Hilary's help, or will real estate agent David be able to find them a forever home?

Mother-in-Law Matters
Stefanie and Jonathan are incredibly busy raising their twin daughters and are missing the full-time, live-in help they used to have from Jonathan's mother, Cindy. Cindy moved out because she did not enjoy living in the dark, unrenovated basement. Both Jonathan and Stefanie want her back under the same roof, but they don't agree on whether or not this is the house for their future. Will designer Hilary transform this home for Jonathan's mother while making their home more functional, or will real estate agent David find them a new space that the whole family will love?

Too Close for Comfort
Dawayne and Joi purchased their home with a dream office that was a perfect place for Dawayne to run his business. Now Joi, Dawayne, their two kids and his mother share the space while coping with daily visits from his siblings, who practically live right behind their house. Joi is frustrated by the lack of privacy as well as the lack of a separate space where the family can visit the matriarch. Will designer Hilary make room for Dawayne's mother while providing the privacy Joi needs, or will real estate agent David find them plenty of room for the whole family?

Pond Paradise
Shelly and Zahid purchased a spacious home over a decade ago that needed many upgrades but had a great view overlooking their backyard and Zahid's favorite feature, the large pond. Over the years, very little has been done to the interior and even though Zahid has a great love for this home, Shelly has had enough. Despite the lack of a makeover, the space does not function for her and the family, and she would like to have a master bedroom and bath that she does not have to share with their young son.
