Episode 2

Emma's waking nightmare continues as she is visited in her police cell by a concerned Susie. She and Susie then speak to a world-weary but not unsympathetic police detective, Christina, who in the face of a lack of evidence urges Emma to head home to the UK. Susie concurs. Emma, though, is adamant that she isn't going to let Niko get away with this.
As Susie departs, Emma begins her mission to find Niko and her money. She starts by targeting hotel worker Maria, who is the only person she knows who has definitely had contact with Niko. She follows Maria to her apartment and after a confrontation comes away with a crucial lead on one of Niko's business associates: George.
Tracking George to his house, Emma breaks in and finds evidence that there may be another victim of Niko's scam - one Annika Larsen - but is disturbed in the act by the urbane and seemingly sympathetic George, who warns her against any further investigation.
George takes Emma to the airport, assuming she is leaving Cyprus, but Emma, ignoring a concerned Pete's proposal that she should just come home, evades George's clutches. She contacts Annika's daughter, Freya, discovering that Annika has been missing for some time, but then receives what appears to be a message from her, asking her to meet…
