Episode 3

A terrified Emma is led at gunpoint by Niko to his remote farmhouse. But now Emma's bewilderment is further compounded when Niko claims to be trying to protect her from George. Niko then lays out for Emma the true nature of the sordid arrangement he has with George.
Emma presses Niko to go to the police, but Niko is reluctant. Emma, disgusted, leaves him, and returns to her hotel, where she finds a concerned and supportive Pete waiting for her. Emma breaks down and agrees with Pete that it's time to return home to the UK. But then Niko reappears, telling Emma that he has reflected on her words, convincing her to work with him to bring George down.
Pete has other ideas. But Emma is adamant - they must try one last time to get justice for Annika. While Niko heads to George's house to try to retrieve further evidence of George's criminal network, Emma convinces Christina to give her one last chance. But her attempt to catch George in the act of scamming another woman results in abject failure.
A furious Emma heads out to Niko's farmhouse to confront him. Niko claims he did not tip George off - on the contrary, he now has all the evidence need to get George put away for a very long time. But as he and Emma rejoice, George suddenly appears…
