Marty installs floats on his bush plane and flies to a remote lake to hunt moose; Lauro and Neil harvest driftwood and build a log river raft from scratch; Mike traverses hostile terrain on Afognak Island to take down a bull elk; Jake cruises the Missouri River on the hunt for a mule deer buck; Paul sets dozens of coyote traps, targeting their valuable fur to bring in cash for his new homestead.

Boom or Bust
Marty desperately searches for a bull moose that vanished in thick brush; Mike hustles to pack out the meat from a bull elk before it can be scavenged by brown bears; Lauro and Neil take their log river raft on its maiden voyage to set nets for fish and traps for beaver; Bret and Ivy haul a cast iron wood stove over dozens of miles of frozen tundra to their remote cabin; Jake continues his hunt for a mule deer on the Missouri River.

The North Slope
Lauro travels north of the Arctic Circle with his team of sled dogs to hunt caribou; Daniel rebuilds an old floating cabin using driftwood logs and the power of tides; Jake takes out a coyote that threatens the livestock on a remote ranch; Tom catches a red fox and transforms the hide into a warm winter hat; Paul prepares for hunting season by constructing a smokehouse on his new homestead.

Whiteout
Lauro hunts caribou in white out conditions on Alaska's North Slope; Bret and Ivy, buried under heavy snowfall, push to set their 230-mile trapline; Daniel launches from his floating cabin to hunt deer along the rugged coast; Jake sets the pack on their first lion chase of the winter and turns up a massive tomcat which puts them to the test; Paul takes flight in a bush plane to scout for new trapping and hunting territory.

Apex Predator
Marty battles the brutal Alaskan winter while running his wildfire ravaged trapline in the Far North; Mike reclaims an abandoned set of solar panels to power his Kodiak Island homestead; Jake discovers a gruesome lion kill on the mountain; Tom climbs aboard a drift boat and floats the Kootenai River to trap beavers with his friends Sean and Hank; Paul hunts down buck near his cabin to fill his new smokehouse with meat for the winter.

Chasing the Ghost
Lauro kicks Iditarod training into high gear with a 300-mile run on the Denali Highway; Bret and Ivy go from checking traps to hunting moose, and take the opportunity to bring down a large bull; Mike responds to a bridge washout by going on the offensive against destructive beavers; Tom helps Paul with running his trapline and skinning his catch; Jake tracks a killer lion, but his hounds turn up a different kind of cat.

Depth Charge
Mike braves icy waters to catch snow crabs living on the seafloor hundreds of feet below the surface; Bret and Ivy travel uncharted terrain to create a new trail, and build a log bridge to cross a deep creek; Tom and Nancy apply their craftsmanship skills to help a local charity; Paul constructs a trapping sled and takes it on a punishing journey to a remote beaver pond; Jake sets traps for bobcats in pursuit of their valuable hides.

Code Red
In Alaska, Marty Meierotto makes a final push into the brutally cold conditions of his trapline to harvest the last of his furs, snap his trap, and fly home to his family. Mike Horstman carves a road into the side of a steep ridge to gain better access to prime hunting grounds. Daniel Peters pilots his boat through shallow waters and raging tidal currents while on a risky mission to trap wolves on the islands of Southeast. In Montana, Jake Herak faces an emergency on the mountain when his dogs brawl with an aggressive lion. Meanwhile, Paul Antczak overcomes a snowmobile breakdown to venture deeper into the forest near his new homestead, setting traps for bobcats and marten.

Running Down a Dream
Lauro begins the 1,000-mile Iditarod with his sixteen-dog team, pitted against harsh conditions and rugged terrain in one of the toughest races on earth. Bret and Ivy ascend into the Alaska Range on a high altitude grizzly bear hunt. Jake returns to the mountain after a dangerous encounter to continue his pursuit of a killer tom lion. Paul makes the final run of his trapline, and delivers a bounty of fur to a local trading post.

Bear Down
Lauro continues his quest to complete the Iditarod through the frozen interior of Alaska. Bret and Ivy pursue a bear into dangerously steep terrain. Daniel sets traps for wolves to protect the fragile deer population in the Southeast. Jake puts a marathon chase on a massive tomcat, ending in a showdown with the killer they've chased all winter. Paul grinds beaver carcasses to produce a valuable trapline bait.

Endurance
Lauro confronts -40 weather, a broken sled, and exhausted dogs on the Iditarod Trail while running down the frozen Yukon River. Bret and Ivy make an impressive haul of beaver to finish their trapping season. Tom and Jack carve a traditional peace pipe from rare catlinite stone. Paul installs a 1,000-gallon water cistern at his off-grid cabin. Jake hits the jackpot while hunting for deer and elk antler sheds in eastern Montana.

The Finish Line
Season Finale; Lauro nears the end of the Iditarod, crossing 260 miles of ice along the Bering Sea coast to reach the finish line in Nome; Marty and his friend Dave haul supplies for a cabin into the backcountry, risking disaster on an unstable frozen river; Tom and Will build an elk hide tipi; Jake and his dogs chase a black bear into a remote mountain cave; and Paul and Chance construct a bear-proof log cabin chicken coop.
