Three highly-trained sheriff's deputies were killed following an explosion at a training center in Los Angeles. The deputies were handling two "military grade explosives," according to sources familiar with the investigation, who say the explosion appears to be accidental. NBC News' Camila Bernal reports. In Maine, authorities charged a 17-year-old from Frankfort with the murder of 48-year-old Sunshine Stewart who was out on a pond paddleboarding earlier this month. NBC News' Erin McLaughlin reports. The Trump administration has secured the freedom of ten Americans it says were wrongly detained in Venezuela by the Maduro regime. Those Americans are now headed home. As part of the prisoner swap, a group of alleged Venezuelan gang members deported from the U.S. are now headed from El Salvador to Venezuela.
