Three highly-trained sheriff's deputies were killed following an explosion at a training center in Los Angeles. The deputies were handling two "military grade explosives," according to sources familiar with the investigation, who say the explosion appears to be accidental. NBC News' Camila Bernal reports. In Maine, authorities charged a 17-year-old from Frankfort with the murder of 48-year-old Sunshine Stewart who was out on a pond paddleboarding earlier this month. NBC News' Erin McLaughlin reports. The Trump administration has secured the freedom of ten Americans it says were wrongly detained in Venezuela by the Maduro regime. Those Americans are now headed home. As part of the prisoner swap, a group of alleged Venezuelan gang members deported from the U.S. are now headed from El Salvador to Venezuela. NBC News' Kelly O'Donnell reports. 18-year-old Emma Marine is speaking out for the first time following a harrowing ordeal that was caught on camera. Police say the teenage store clerk fought back during an attempted kidnapping while she was at work. NBC News' Jesse Kirsch has the details from Florida. Stephen Colbert shocked his audience and late night fans, announcing CBS had decided to cancel his long-running show. The Ark
