Day Seven

A bumper evening of Olympic action, as athletics and swimming share the spotlight, as well as men's and women's BMX Racing finals. The much-anticipated men's 50m freestyle final kicks things off at 7.30 at La Defense Arena, followed by the women's 200m backstroke final at 7.39, featuring Scotland's Katie Shanahan and Australia's Kaylee McKeown, before a star-studded men's 200m individual medley at 7.49, where the likes of Duncan Scott, Tom Dean and Leon Marchand should be involved. Over at the Stade de France, the men's 10,000m final is the main attraction in the athletics this evening at 8.20, and the schedule also features the women's discus qualification from 5.55, round one of the mixed 4x400m relay at 6.10, round one of the women's 800m at 6.45, the men's shot put qualification at 7.10 and the decathlon 400m at 7.50.
